Construction of high-rise buildings brings about greater exposure to fire hazards. With many people densely occupying each floor, additional protection measures need to be put in place to ensure everyone's safety. Installing a wet riser system is crucial in buildings that exceed 18 meters in height.

Flange oblique landing valves are well-suited for wet riser system implementation. They come equipped with flanged inlet and outlet connections that provide easy access for firefighters. These valves are manufactured in accordance with BS 5041 Part 1 standard, which ensures that they meet safety and quality requirements.

The wet riser landing valves are classified under low pressure, suitable for use with nominal inlet pressure of up to 15 bar. They are also designed to allow for replacement of the gland seal while under pressure, with the valve fully closed.

The body material of the landing valves is made of copper alloy to EN 1982, while the hand wheel material is made of grey cast iron to BS EN 1561. The blank caps are made of copper alloy as well. Additionally, the valves feature a replaceable disc facing rubber for added durability.
